Like I always love, I'll just keep it KISS for now Name's Jay, just moved to Willow Grove and am possibly looking for a new place to call home where I can secretly nerd out in while the girlfriend is working or such. I'm curious as to what games are a common occurrence in Willow Grove, and to see whether or not anyone would ever be opposed to forming a weekly group for some PnP RPGs, preferably DnD/Star Wars if anything. But I am down to learning new games and meeting new people! Let me know everyone! Thanks!

Hi, Jay. I'm Russ. Currently the group is on a zombie/horror board game kick right now. We share the space with a bunch of rowdy Heroclix guys so space is limited. Unfortunately recurring games like D&D and Star Wars RPG are tough thanks to everybody's wonky schedules and after work lives. That being said I would check out 7th Dimension Games in Jenkintown - Google is your friend - if you wanted to find an RPG style game group. They support weekly D&D as well as board game nights and other scheduled weekly events. I play Star Wars X-wing and Star Trek Attack wing on Thursdays down there and I can usually be found hanging out on my time off

Russ is exactly right. We really wouldn't be likely to play anything ongoing like D&D. Each of us tends to have a time now and then when we are not able to make it, so it would be hard to keep an ongoing story. Plus, we are more into board games in our group. We tend to do horror board games, and more often than not something with zombies. But, we do break out something different now and then. Some of the games we play most often include:
- Last Night On Earth - Zombicide - A Touch Of Evil - Mansions of Madness
I know I am probably forgetting something. Some of the other stuff we've played at random includes:
- Zpocalypse - Sentinels of the Multiverse - Star Wars X-Wing (Russ has this and will usually bring it with him) - Kings of Tokyo - Tannhauser - Tanto Cuore
I would also agree with Russ. Based on the stuff you mention, 7th Dimension Games may be a better bet for you. However, if you are interested in any of the above games, or games like it, you are more than welcome to join us to give it a try. The more the merrier.
We meet most Wednesdays from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Brave New Worlds, the comic book store that is across from the Willow Grove Mall.
